Welcome to the world of traditional and authentic Indian Vegetarian and Non vegetarian food . Haweli Indian restaurant is located on Postjesweg 17, 1057DT, Amsterdam. Restaurant is close to central station and you can easily reach here by car or by taking tram 17. The specialties of the restaurant are curry, tandoori, biryani, fish and vegetarian dishes. Haweli is open seven days a week between 17:00 – 23:00 hrs. Many dedicated customers come from all over Amsterdam and The Netherlands to experience the authentic flavours of our restaurant. The restaurant has an aromatic and seductive atmosphere that suits the Indian Punjabi cuisine.
Haweli Indian restaurant has about 52 seats and we offer variety of specialties, including tandoori dishes, which are made in a special clay oven called tandoor. In this oven we make breads, such as Indian white bread (nan) and brown bread (roti). Not only in the clay oven dishes are prepared, be prepared delicious dishes on the grill, such as Tandoori Chicken, Lamb Chops, Shrimps etc . On the map are many side dishes, including homemade mint sauce and mango chutney, a sweet and sour sauce with mango. Conveniently on the card behind the various dishes peppers, which show how spicy the dish is. however the customer wants a particular dish more spicy or milder, we will prepare dishes accordingly. If our customer is happy, so are we.

Am not Indian but I've spend a lot of time in India and can feel the taste of India at Haweli restaurant. The food is soooo tasty, plates are huge, people friendly. I can only recommend them.
